Off-Season Movement

Name Position New Team Fantasy Impact
Julius Peppers DE Chicago Bears Upgrade the Bears defense from top 10 to top 3.
Chester Taylor RB Chicago Bears I expect a fairly even time-share with Matt Forte.  Both RBs are fantasy RB3s.
Seneca Wallace QB Cleveland Browns Has a chance to win the starting job.  If he starts, he could be an adequate spot start QB2.
Anquan Boldin WR Baltimore Ravens Baltimore finally gets a legit impact WR to help Joe Flacco.  He should put up weak WR1/good WR2 stats.
Thomas Jones RB Kansas City Will split carries with Jamaal Charles.  Both RBs are RB3s unless one becomes the clear cut #1.
Antwaan Randle El WR Pittsburgh If he wins the #3 WR job from Mike Wallace he could be a sleeper in the now pass-first offense led by Ben Roethlisberger.
Jamal Williams DT Denver Broncos Should help stop the run.  Slight upgrade for Denver defense.
Derek Anderson QB Released Oakland, Arizona?
LaDanian Tomlinson RB Released Minnesota, Philadelphia?
Brian Westbrook RB Released Minnesota, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh?
Willie Parker RB Released San Diego, Pittsburgh, Washington?
Donte Stallworth WR Baltimore Ravens If he can win the #2 WR spot he is capable of putting up weak WR2/good WR3 stats.

Nick Domanico's 2010 Mock Draft

Round 1

Pick Team Name Position School Comments
1 St. Louis Rams Sam Bradford QB Oklahoma Best QB in the draft goes to a team in dire need of a franchise QB.
2 Detroit Lions Ndamukong Suh DT Nebraska An absolute beast who is capable of single-handedly turning around this sad defense.
3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Gerald McCoy DT Oklahoma Fundamentally sound DT who would be the first D-lineman off the board in most draft classes.
4 Washington Redskins Russell Okung OT Oklahoma St. Polished pass protector is the perfect fit to replace newly-retired Chris Samuels.
5 Kansas City Chiefs Dez Bryant WR Oklahoma St. They have more glaring needs, but they can't pass up nabbing a playmaker like Bryant.
6 Seattle Seahawks Jimmy Clausen QB Notre Dame Best QB available for a team in dire need of a new QB (especially since they dealt Seneca Wallace).
7 Cleveland Browns Eric Berry S Tennessee Porous Cleveland defense will get a facelift with the addition of Berry.
8 Oakland Raiders Trent Williams OT Oklahoma The Raiders need a quality offensive lineman to help spark their running game.
9 Buffalo Bills Bruce Campbell LT Maryland Excellent athlete with great size.  May take a few seasons to reach his potential, but the Bills aren't in position to win now anyway.
10 Jacksonville Jaguars Jason Pierre-Paul DE South Florida Last in sacks last year could use a good pass rusher.
11 Denver Broncos Dan Williams NT Tennessee Excellent quickness for a 327 lb guy.
12 Miami Dolphins Sergio Kindle OLB Texas Pass rushing linebacker to compliment newly-acquired Karlos Dansby.
13 San Francisco 49ers Anthony Davis LT Rutgers Davis has the most upside of any offensive lineman in the draft.  Poor combine stats led him to slip to the niners at 13.
14 Seattle Seahawks Bryan Bulaga LT Iowa 2009 Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year is ready to step in and start day 1.
15 New York Giants Derrick Morgan DE Georgia Tech They need to replace Umenyora and improve their pass rush.  Morgan is a perfect fit.
16 Tennessee Titans Jared Odrick DT Penn State Can play anywhere upfront, which can help them deal with the loss of Vanden Bosch.
17 San Francisco 49ers Taylor Mays S USC Incredible athlete who will bring a presence to SF defense.
18 Pittsburgh Steelers Joe Haden CB Florida Poor 40 time drops into the laps of a contender in need of an upgrade at CB.
19 Atlanta Falcons Golden Tate WR Notre Dame 4.3 speed and strong character make him a tempting pick to pair with Roddy White.
20 Houston Texans Kyle Wilson CB Boise State Solid corner who will be able to step in and replace Dunta Robinson.  Also has kick return skills.
21 Cincinnati Bengals Rolando McClain ILB Alabama This is a best player available pick.  He can step in and help the ever-improving Bengal defense.
22 New England Patriots C.J. Spiller RB Clemson Spiller is a big play waiting to happen every time he touches the ball.  He could be the missing piece that gets the Pats back to the Super Bowl.
23 Green Bay Packers Earl Thomas S Texas 8 interceptions as a 3rd-yr sophmore last season.
24 Philadelphia Eagles Carlos Dunlap DE Florida The Eagles need a DE and Dunlap has the physical tools to be a dominant player.
25 Baltimore Ravens Patrick Robinson CB Florida State Acquisition of Anquan Boldin leaves CB as the position of greatest need and Robinson is the best available CB.
26 Arizona Cardinals Brandon Graham OLB Michigan Similar to LaMarr Woodley, smaller than prototypical size, but has an excellent motor.
27 Dallas Cowboys Demaryius Thomas WR Georgia Tech Will be looking to replace Roy Williams soon and Thomas could be that replacement.
28 San Diego Chargers Ryan Matthews RB Fresno State After cutting LT and Michael Bennett, Sproles is the only RB on their roster.  Matthews is a good value pick at 28.
29 New York Jets Everson Griffen DE USC Can provide a more than adequate compliment to Shaun Ellis to further strengthen an already strong defense.
30 Minnesota Vikings Brian Price DT UCLA Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year has a high ceiling and has been very productive.
31 Indianapolis Colts Maurkice Pouncey C Florida He will be the heir apparent to Jeff Saturday who is getting long in the tooth.
32 New Orleans Saints Sean Weatherspoon LB Missouri Weatherspoon had over 400 tackles and a tremendous performance at the combine.
